Mitsubishi Pajero Service Options

There are two Mitsubishi Service Options available to you, namely the Major and the Minor Service Option. Please note that the Pajero Service Costs will vary depending on the type of vehicle service needed and if any additional repair or maintenance work needs to be undertaken. Any additional Pajero Repair Costs will always be discussed with you before they are performed on your vehicle. At no time will any unauthorized repairs or additional service costs be added without your prior knowledge and consent.

Please note however that this is a high-level breakdown only. Mitsubishi Pajero Minor Service

Throughout a Pajero’s lifespan, it will need to undergo regular scheduled minor services. This Service Option includes important diagnostic checks as well as the following replacements, updates and resets:

• The engine oil and the oil filter will be replaced
• Brake and clutch fluid will be replaced
• The cabin air pollen filter will be replaced
• An Approved Fuel Additive might be added (if necessary)
• A Pajero Software and Firmware update will be done (if necessary)
• An onboard computer diagnostic check and reset will be done once the service is complete

Mitsubishi Pajero Major Service

A Major Pajero Service needs to be undertaken from time to time depending on the vehicles predetermined manufacturers maintenance schedule. During this service the following important service and maintenance procedures and checks will be undertaken:

• The air conditioning and heater systems will be checked
• The condition of the battery will be checked
• The brake lines, hoses, and connections will be checked
• The brake pads, callipers, and discs will be checked
• The engine cooling system will be checked
• The driveshaft and CV boots will be checked
• The exhaust system will be checked
• The front suspension and the vehicles ball joints will be checked
• The fuel filter, fuel lines, hoses, and all fuel connections will be checked
• The fuel tank air filter system will be checked
• The transmission will be checked
• The parking brake will be checked
• The steering gear rack, linkage and boots will be checked
• The vapour hoses and fuel filler cap will be checked
