When to Service a Mitsubishi Triton
All Mitsubishi Triton Service Intervals are every 10,000kms and during this time either a Major or Minor Service of your vehicle will be undertaken. This is done to ensure optimum vehicle performance and helps to ensure that the high levels of safety, reliability and resale value of the vehicle are maintained. For your convenience, we have included a high-level breakdown of the two Service Options below. Please note however that the type of service needed is determined by the mileage of the vehicle being serviced. Both Major and Minor Mitsubishi Triton Services are covered by the Tritons 5 year / 90,000km Service Plan.
Mitsubishi Triton Minor Service
Your Minor Mitsubishi Triton Service needs to be done during regular Triton Service Intervals and utilises important diagnostic checks to ascertain if there are any possible issues with your vehicle. It also includes parts and consumables* replacements and if needed any vehicle software updates. During the Triton Minor Service the following actions are undertaken by our technicians:
- Engine oil and the oil filter is replaced
- Brake and clutch fluid is replaced
- The cabin air pollen filter is replaced if needed
- An Approved Mitsubishi Fuel Additive will be added if necessary
- Both the vehicles Software and Firmware will be updated if necessary
After the Servicing of all Triton vehicles is complete our technicians will again do a full onboard computer diagnostic check and reset before handing your vehicle back to you. Please note that all mechanical issues (if any) will be reported to you before any additional work is undertaken.

Mitsubishi Triton Major Service
When it comes to your Mitsubishi Triton Maintenance one of the most important tasks that our trained technicians perform is always going to be the highly detailed Triton Major Service.
